• Description:
• Request for proposals are invited for Design and Construction of Provincial Agricultural Center in Brgy. Merit, Victoria, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. GGGI for its project in Philippines is requesting for proposals from eligible firms/entities for following scope of work : Introduction The Provincial Agricultural Center (PAC), to be built in Brgy. Merit, Victoria, Oriental Mindoro (with funding provided by the Korea International Cooperation Agency), aims to improve the competitiveness and foster the development of agri-MSMEs in the province by providing: (i) incubation services, (ii) tolling services and facility rentals, and (iii) aggregation services, among others. A defining feature of the PAC - other than supporting the agricultural sector - are its green components, which include: 1. Installation of a solar power system as a source of renewable energy 2. Designation of a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) for proper solid waste management 3. Installation of a wastewater treatment system 4. Typhoon-resilient and earthquake-proof building design. Design Activities The detailed engineering study and design shall include but will not be limited to the following activities/works; 1. Site inspection; topographic survey; geotechnical/geological investigation; foundation analysis and Environment Impact Assessment Studies 2. Conception and preparation of preliminary architectural and engineering plan based on PAC Reference Drawings (Refer to Annex 1); FDA Guidelines on Premises (Refer to Annex 2); FDA Guidelines on Machinery (Refer to Annex 3); DOH Good Manufacturing Practices (Refer to Annex and Additional information on machines (Refer to Annex 6) 3. Presentation of draft design to the PBSP Technical team/GGGI within 45 working days after contract signing. The detailed design should have the following components; (Architectural Drawings; Structural Drawings; Plumbing Drawings; Electrical Drawings; Mechanical Drawings and Design Drawings) at the bare minimum. 4. Revision of initial draft incorporating comments from the PBSP Technical team/GGGI 5. Preparation of detailed unit price analysis and Bills of Quantities 6. Preparation of S-curve/construction schedule/proposed Gannt chart 7. Presentation of the final design to PBSP Technical team/GGGI. Final output of the Plans shall be Signed and Sealed by licensed engineers for each particular component. Reproduction of plans other than for permits and licensing purposes, the Contractor shall submit the following to GGGI: - Master Copy Reproducible drawings in pdf format (A1 size or 59.4cm x 84.1cm) saved in USB/Electronic format. - 5-set Blueprints in A1 size hardcopy documents - Bar Chart - Manpower & Equipment Schedule - PERT/CPM - S-Curve - Construction Methodology - Health & Safety Program 8. Submission of the final design to OBO for review and approval. 9. Securing the building permit from OBO 10. Assist GGGI to secure the occupancy permit from OBO. Required Outputs from Design Stage The expected deliverables from the contractor include; 1. Site inspection report 2. Geo-technical investigation report 3. Topographic survey report 4. Environment and Social Impact Assessment Report 5. Approved “For Construction” Drawings 6. Approved Technical Specifications 7. Detailed Engineering Plans 8. Design Report 9. “As Built” Plans 10. Building permit 11. Occupancy permit.
