• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Green Platforms Web Hosting, Maintenance and Development. 1) Hosting of the GGKP website. Identify and contract a web hosting service to ensure the secure and reliable hosting of the GGKP web platforms for the period specified above. The selected Service Provider will manage all aspects of the web hosting, including, but not limited to: financial costs, setup and transfer of the GGKP web platforms to the new server (if applicable). Additional aspects of the web hosting can be managed jointly with the web hosting service, including physical infrastructure, backups, security, and connectivity. The selected service provided and the web hosting service jointly must provide: a. 24/7 server monitoring and support; b. Daily backups of the entire GGKP web platform and its content; c. Disaster recovery; and d. Guaranteed 99.95% uptime e. Google PageSpeed scores on mobile and desktop maintained at 80/100 or above, or equivalent metrics maintained. f. Use of a Content Delivery Network such as Amazon Cloudfront, Fastly, or equivalent 2) Website maintenance a. Security Updates. Ensure the on-going security and stability of the GGKP web platform, including through the management and application of core security updates, module security updates, and other required updates and patching. Patching and updating should take place at a minimum of once per month. 3) Website consulting and support. Provide support to ensure the integrity and continual improvement of the GGKP web platforms. The selected Service Provider will be expected to provide 100 person-hours of web consulting support per quarter (for the entire duration of the Contract). In exceptional circumstances, web support hours may exceed 100 hours per quarter, but only after written approval from GGGI. These web support hours will be used for: a. Ongoing support to fix bugs on the GGKP web platforms in a timely manner. b. Additional work (both front-end and back-end) to ensure the continued improvement to the quality of the GGKP web platforms. Examples of this could include, but are not limited to: small theming changes; ensuring consistency across pages; usability testing; analytics tracking and reporting; adjusting the structure, look, or functionality of existing web pages based on user feedback; search engine optimization; and development of new functionality for the site. 4) Major development projects. Work with the GGKP Secretariat to build out new functionality (“major projects”) on the GGKP web platform. A maximum budget for all “major project” work will be established. Once the scope and cost, at a single fixed hourly unit rate for all staff, of any new functionality is agreed between the GGKP and the selected Service Provider, the Service Provider will be expected to begin work on the task within 4 weeks. Examples of potential functionality include, but are not limited to: redesign of the GGKP Project Database to improve user experience and to add functionality; upgrading of individual website features such as the Data Explorer or data visualisation; integration of linked open data throughout the site, integration of features across GGKP web platforms, etc. The service provider shall submit the list of experts to be engaged for Major development projects with fixed hourly unit rate for all staff. The hourly unit rate shall be fixed for entire contract duration. 5) Web domain management: On behalf of GGGI, maintain the registration of up to fifteen web domains.
