Description:
Tenders are invited for Procurement of Independent Executive Search Firm for Recruitment of GGGI Director General. Global Green Growth Institute has initiated a selection process for the recruitment of its next Director-General to replace the current incumbent whose term concludes at the end of 2024. It seeks to ensure a fair, competitive, and transparent process that is in the best interest of GGGI and conducted with respect for candidates. The GGGI Establishment Agreement provides information on the functions of the GGGI Assembly and the GGGI Council in relation to the appointment of the Director-General; Article 7(5)(b) states that the functions of the Assembly shall include appointing the Director-General who shall be nominated by the Council; Article 8(5)(a) states that the functions of the Council shall include nominating a Director-General for appointment by the Assembly; Article 8(12) of the Establishment Agreement states that the Council may establish sub-committees as it deems necessary for the efficient coordination and operation of its functions. The Council will establish a ‘Director General Selection Committee- (DGSC) to manage the selection process. This request for proposal (RFP) seeks to identify a recruitment firm that will assist the DGSC in the recruitment process by undertaking the tasks described in this RFP. The terms of reference included in Annex 1 provides the details of the assignment and expected deliverables.
