Description:
Tenders are invited for Waste to Resources: Improving Municipal Solid Waste (Msw) and Hazardous Waste Management in Rwanda The RVM will be installed as a proof-of-concept element of incentivizing separation at source and valorization of waste in the City of Kigali. The project aims to track, monitor, and evaluate the performance of the RVM as a feature aligned to the smart city concept integrated into systems and services in the City of Kigali. The firm selected for the RVM will also be engaged in the training of local entities to enable the maintenance and repair of the machine as needed. Ultimate, Waste to Resources project aims to enable the sustainable management of solid waste in Rwanda resulting in greenhouse gas mitigation, environmental protection, green jobs creation and improved public health and sanitation. The increased collection - particularly of e-waste - aligns with the project-s overall objectives and with the national priorities of the Government of Rwanda. More information is provided in the Terms of Reference (ToR) document attached. Deadline for tender submission is December 21, 2022 1600 Hrs Korean Standard time (KST).
