  • Tenders are invited for Green Climate Fund Readiness Project - Website Hosting and Maintenance Services for “Jordan Climate Action” Bilingual Online Platform (Re-tender). GGGI for its project in Jordan is seeking for proposals from eligible firms for the following activities and scope of work: Provision of technical support for the hosting, maintenance, and updates of the online platform for the National Designated Authority (NDA) for the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The selected firm will be expected to manage the online platform which shall run in Arabic and English in a manner reflective but not limited to: (i) Provision of maximum flexibility including ability to update it with ease; (ii) Categorization of user content into a logical structure; (iii) Ease of consistent portal navigation; (iv) Multiple content feeds and; (v) Database-driven where applicable. The selected firm shall perform the following: • Research and review documents at minimum from the NDA (especially the content mapping, public communications, stakeholders map, Jordan-s project pipeline, No Objection Procedures, etc. & the GGGI, as required • Conduct consultation meetings with the NDA, GGGI Readiness project team, and suggested private sector stakeholders who would utilize the platform. • Update NDA training manual on online platform workflow and use • Organize workshops for training NDA staff on using the online platform and its functionality; • Report writing and presentation. To write 1) Deliverable Reports 2) NDA training manual for website and 3) lessons learned report with findings and recommendations (to be included in Final Report); Guided by its experience and its proposed delivery approach, the firm shall be expected to deliver the online platform with the following considerations; 1) Web portal Maintenance a) Online platform content updates: the contracted web development firm will assist with content updates when changes are requested by the NDA. It should be endeavored that as many changes as possible can be made within 48 hours of request. b) The backup, code and source files availed in full to the client on closing of the contract. c) Provide guidance on using the admin interface of the CMS. Monitor the server logs to see most popular pages and downloads and generate regular reports, which the admin can procure independently after close of contract. d) Maintenance does not include web portal redesign or development but may include updates. e) Documents and graphics, such as logos, will be provided by Project Management Team. f) Training to NDA staff on portal maintenance and content update. 2) Search Engine Optimization and Site Analysis Ensure search engine optimization (SEO) of the portal to increase visibility and traffic to the portal by the target audience. The SEO work will include: a) Keyword research & analysis b) Site analysis c) Competitive analysis d) Site content optimization e) HTML code optimization f) Search Engine submission (free search engines) HOW TO OBTAIN THE DOCUMENTS: Documents can be accessed via the e-Green Procurement Portal by selecting ‘View Details- on the relevant notice and then clicking the ‘Tender Application- button. If you are a new supplier, you will be required to register your details. If you have an existing account, you will need to login to the portal. Please refer to the guidance documents under the 'Supplier Guidance' area of the portal for further information. ONLINE TENDER MANAGEMENT Once in the Tender Management Area for the tender, there are five possible tabs: ‘Tender-, 'Tender Documents', ‘Correspondence-, ‘Clarifications- and ‘History-. Select the 2nd tab ('Tender Documents') where you will find useful information regarding the RFP. Scroll down to the heading ‘Tender Documents Received- where you will be able to view / download the documents. OPTING IN & OPTING OUT: Please note that you may be required to ‘Opt In- before you can start populating your response. The ‘Opt Out- functionality will also be available throughout the duration of the tender process. Opting out will give you the option of declaring you no longer want to receive any further communication in relation to this tender along with the opportunity of providing comments and feedback for this decision. You can choose to ‘Opt In- at any time during the tender process if you initially decided to ‘Opt Out-. SUBMITTING YOUR RESPONSE VIA THE PORTAL: Please note that you may be required to ‘Opt In- to be able to submit a response through the portal. Tenderers will be required to upload any mandatory Placeholders (i.e. specified documents) within the 'Tender Documents' tab. The ability to attach additional documents may also be available. Your proposal will not be submitted until you click 'Submit Return', located towards the bottom of the screen. On clicking 'Submit Return', you will receive a receipt confirming that your proposal has been submitted to GGGI.
